Taliesin Preservation of Spring Green, WI is looking to hire a Front of House Lead for the Riverview Terrace Cafe. This position works alongside our Food Artisan Immersion Program team. This seasonal position pays an hourly rate of between $12.00 - 18.00 over a flexible work schedule from April 1st to December 31st. We are looking for someone willing to commit to the full season and opportunities exist for this to become a year round position. As stewards of the Frank Lloyd Wright Visitor Center, our dual mission is to preserve the cultural, built, and natural environments that comprise the Taliesin property and to conduct educational and cultural programs that provide a greater understanding of his architecture and ideas. We are different from other historic sites because we are not satisfied with just being a museum. We want the estate to stay filled with life.

As the Front of House Lead, you get to work with a team of culinary professionals in our unique Food Artisan Immersion Program. You will participate in all front of house duties required to get delicious food on the plate and provide our guests with an exceptional experience. Through your front of house focus, you will support the program participants on their work/study journey and you are welcome to participate in any curriculum events that interest you.

Outside of the culinary program, you will have an opportunity to participate in a community that embraces the principles of Frank Lloyd Wright's vision through the integration of farming, gardening, and cooking as a celebration of a beautiful way of living.

This is a seasonal position from April 1st through October 31st and has a variable hour schedule. In season, we are a seven-day-a-week operation, and this position would require a flexibility and a willingness to work some weekends. The cafe operates from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm daily.
